Abraham Biderman - Public Accountant in New York

A long-time resident of New York, Abraham “Abe” Biderman possesses over three decades of experience in financial services. He graduated with his BS degree in accounting from the City University of New York: Brooklyn College before going on to certify as a public accountant in New York state. At the start of his professional career, Abraham Biderman served the city and state of New York in various capacities.

He functioned as chairman of the New York City Housing Development Corp. and the New York City Retirement System. Mr. Biderman then went on to serve as chief financial officer for the city finance agency, responsible for collecting over $15 billion in taxes annually.

Following his public service to the city, for thirteen years Mr. Biderman led Lipper Funds Inc. and Lipper & Company LP as managing director and executive vice president, respectively. Since 2003, he has been the chairman of Eagle Strategic Advisers, LLC, a financial advisory and services firm.

Abraham “Abe” Biderman is a member of the New York City Partnership for Fiscal Opportunities and the director of the Metropolitan New York Coordinating Council on Jewish Poverty. He also serves as trustee of Touro College.
